Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Documentation Administrator to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Glenrothes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator to support a busy Quality department, ensuring customer documentation and certification packages are compiled accurately and delivered on time.
This role is 100% office-based and would suit candidates with strong administrative experience, excellent attention to detail, and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
The Role
As a Quality Documentation Administrator, you will work closely with Quality, Production, Projects, Sales and Inspection teams to ensure documentation is accurately prepared and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and compile customer documentation and certification packages
- Gather and organise documentation from multiple departments
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and issued within project deadlines
- Review data books and quality documentation before customer submission
- Track inspection reports, certificates and quality records
- Attend production meetings and communicate documentation updates
- Respond to documentation-related customer queries
- Maintain accurate filing, archiving and traceability records
- Update internal systems, trackers and spreadsheets
- Support the Quality team with administrative duties and continuous improvement activities
Requirements
- Previous administrative experience within an office environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- Team-focused approach with a strong customer service mindset
Desirable
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Experience compiling technical documentation or certification packs
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch)
Friday: 08:00 – 14:00
Pay & Benefits
- £15.38 per hour
- 38 hours per week
- 4-month contract
